Spirit of Two Thousand Ten YachtWestern Living Magazine was putting together their luxury issue and this 120 foot yacht fit the bill. I slept aboard the BC built mega yacht and dreamt of being mega rich. Then I woke up at dawn and took exterior photographs from a fishing boat. Thanks to the spirit crew and Cabo Magic for all their wonderful hospitality and assistance with the shoot.

False Creek Condo, Vancouver. Western Living Condo. AJ Barker Design. Minimalist design, clean white walls and wood accents were all combined perfectly for this condo. The outdoor patio was inviting and the wood decking should serve as inspiration for anyone who currently owns a cold concrete deck.

North Vancouver residence. Natural Balance Home Builders renovated this family home with high end modern materials and finishing. I really liked the garden that was built into the top of the kitchen cabinets that can be viewed from both the kitchen and the second floor.

Semiahmoo Library. Photographed for Vancouver Magazine. The living wall was created by Green Over Grey Design and is the largest vertical garden in North America. I wanted to include people in the photograph and was on the look out for a cyclist, a dog walker or a family with a baby stroller. These kids rolled into the frame on skateboards. I took the photograph, moved on to another angle and started my wait all over again.

Nood Furniture and Design. Basically when I photograph a room I evaluate the space, choose an angle, set up lights, subtract, add or move a few objects then take the photograph. With a furniture shoot you need a lot more production and people power. Nood emptied this Bowen Island home and moved in their stylish contemporary furniture to fill the rooms. After a room was photographed the furniture was moved out to a loading truck and new furniture was brought in. The whole team was fantastic and we ended up with a lot of great photographs.
