Green over Grey. Guildford Town Centre Living Walls.

Green over Grey recently designed and installed two huge exterior living walls and two interior living walls for Guildford Town Centre. The exterior walls cover both sides of the Guildford Town Centre overpass and at over 10,000 square feet they’re not only huge but very beautiful. The interior walls are equally as impressive. I usually get sensory overload in malls but found that the interior living walls helped softened the space. Room styling is an integral part of interior photography. For this Western Living Condo project I was fortunate enough to work with a whole styling/design team. I’ve worked with Nicole Sjostedt on many projects and she’s not only fantastic to work with, but great at her job. The condos interior designers Chad Falkenberg and Kelly Reynolds of Falken Reynolds Interiors delivered fantastic art and design pieces. That’s them on the cover. Vancouver Magazine. Harold Steves

Harold Steves has an incredible home. Every room was full of carefully collected historical pieces and family heirlooms. I usually know what I want to photograph once I’ve toured a home but for this project I was a bit overwhelmed. I could have spent a week photographing all the interesting details and still not covered everything. To see more images of Harold Steves and his home click here.

Vancouver Magazine. Two Harbour Green and Woodwards

I photographed these buildings for an interesting and well researched article titled “The Myth of Foreign Real Estate Investment” by Vancouver writer Frances Bula. Often when I photograph a downtown tower I wonder why so few lights are on. Where is everyone? Sometimes the answers are simple. It’s the winter they’re all at work until after dusk or it’s a warm summer night and they’re all outside enjoying the city. Other times the answers aren’t so simple.
